Deploying AI to transform growth

Matsu Partners is capable of deploying a variety of AI solutions to drive digital transformation: from automating workflows via multi-agent orchestration through to mathematical optimisation of complex value chains - we have always found value to unlock even amongst the most sceptical of stakeholders.

Our success is not due to our technical prowess, but from 3 key attributes essential to realising results: The Tools, Managing Change, and The Systems of Accountability.

The Tools

We have devised operating toolkits that help us move fast in diagnosing value opportunities currently untouched, and translating this into end-results.

Revenue optimization is one of our specialties. Here we incorporate vast volumes of different source data to hyper-profile prospective customers across different channels, lowering their cost of acquisition. We then focus meticulously on customer journeys, as we seek to maximize cross-selling and other opportunities to increase their spend and lifetime with any company.

Managing Change

This is a major contributor to why AI adoption fails for most companies: the inability to galvanise change. Sometimes this is unavoidable: resistance to change can simply be too high.

Our approach seeks to understand if this willingness exists -  we won't invest otherwise. We deploy our methodology to build upon this desire, varying from identifying champions, through to running workshops, A/B testing, and aligning recruitment and resources to sustain any positive impact into the long run. Crucially we are there alongside management driving this - and not in an ivy tower.

Systems of Accountability

This provides the foundation for AI to genuinely scale - encompassing a series of interconnected areas -  organisational design and HR management, technology systems, internal controls, compliance and governance. These help correctly resource any change initiative, ensure relevant stakeholders are accountable, and that they are incentivised to deliver. Often these are highly rudimentary in most SMEs - this is where Matsu Partners can make a difference.

Why this matters?

Though digital-led, our repertoire of capabilities extends into all areas of what Private Equity would consider "Operational Value Creation".

However for SMEs, it is establishing these building blocks and transitioning to institution-level management controls that often represents a significant hurdle to growth. Partnering with Matsu Partners, this is an area we can help overcome.
